In this life, each of us has a path that we are destined to travel. And whether we choose it or it chooses us, the path–our path–lays out before us and demands that we walk. If we step carefully and follow faithfully, benevolent forces walk with us.
But sometimes life’s circumstances and temptations lure us away from our true path. Initiated with the first misstep, our wanderings can lead us to terrible places. Then, unable to find our way back, we fall prey to forces so consuming that they are not satisfied until they take everything we have.
