GAME OVER

Danny Langer is considered a regular at the Wildcat Lanes in Papillion, Nebraska. With lots of spare time on his hands these days, Langer wastes time playing pinball and smoking Marlboro’s.

“I dropped out at the end of my junior year. I was already so far behind that there’s no way I could’ve made it. It’s all a bunch of bullshit anyway.”

“My teachers all told me I wasn’t going to amount to much and it looks like they were right.”

“I think the turning point for me was when my dad died. Things just changed. My mom was lonely all the time–she dated just about every loser in town. And me, well, I just sort of disappeared.”

“I’m thinking about joining the Army but with the way things are over there I can’t imagine doing that. Some choice huh? Go to Iraq and come back in a body bag or stay here and commit suicide on the installment plan.”

Danny Langer turned 18 on May 10, 2007. He currently lives in his mother’s basement.
