Scattered in various towns throughout Nebraska, there are still some who remember the years of the Great Dust Bowl. From their stories, you can tell the hardship was real. To this day, these remarkable people can still recall what its like to be hungry for days on end. Yet despite the hardships, and because of their experiences, their lives are somehow simpler. Nowhere is this more evident than in sharing a meal at the end of the day.
