Beloved naturalist Jane Goodall believed that Gorillas were the most impressive of all the creatures on the planet. After observing a Western Lowland Silverback for more than an hour, I’d have to agree. The part that’s so remarkable is the strange feeling you get in watching them watch you–it’s almost like a telepathic form of communication. It really is an experience unlike any other.
