At its peak, the Dust Bowl covered one hundred million acres. As dust swept over the southern plains of the U.S., an area the size of Pennsylvania was left in ruins. Inavale, NE, located on the south central corridor of Nebraska, was one of the casualties. To this day it remains a ghost town.
