To most people this is just a fence post. But to ranchers, fence posts define boundaries. They are monuments to hopes and dreams. They represent home.
Undeniably, fence posts are, in a very real sense, a visible testament to hard work–and it’s only through back breaking labor that fence posts get planted and wire gets strung.
For those who dared to lay down roots in this hard land, I am betting the resulting satisfaction was a beautiful thing indeed.
