Although I’ve been away for more than 30 years, I’ve always considered northern Minnesota to be my home. Thankfully, not much has changed. Even better, the relationships that I thought were gone forever still remain. And to be able to experience many of the feelings and emotions I first encountered when I lived here as a kid is one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever received.
On a dirt road, under a crescent moon, this place still feels like home to me.
