After being washed out in Chicago with multiple delays at O’Hare, I’m reminded that–without question–there is a nasty side to this city.
The weather is perpetually miserable here–which makes it an odd place to have one of the world’s largest airports. It seems that whenever I pass through this wretched place (which is a lot), I inevitably wind up being soaked to the bone standing in a line that’s 50 deep waiting for some broken down yellow Taxi holding a hotel voucher to the Drury Inn and wondering if I’ll ever see my bags again.
Terrible shit indeed.
