UNTIL THAT DAY…

Ancient Steed
Astonishing beast of God’s great creation
Strong and durable, elegant and full of grace
Drifter of the high plains
I wonder what you think about; I wonder what you feel
Captive; bound in chains
Do you weep for the lands of your ancestors?
And at the end of days, who will mourn your passing?

Ancient Steed
Magnificent creature, powerful and mighty
Eyes aflame with rage
Let your spirit endure
Remember from where it is you came
Until that day, long for freedom
To the time when you will run wild once more

Breaking horses, western NE
