Located on the north bank of the Rio Bravo, Laredo, TX is a tough town. Here, people are self-sufficient and most would rather take the hard road than ask others for help. Somehow, in a world-filled with whiners and crybabies, it’s encouraging to see that there are still those who are in it for the challenge and take great pride in getting things done on their own–it’s one of the reasons why I love the people of the central and southern plains so much.
